Automata – Album Cover for The Cosmica Project (2011)

This album cover was created in 2011 for Automata, a record by Guatemalan band The Cosmica Project. The illustration was inspired by the idea of a musical automaton—an intricate, mechanical being built to generate sound, rhythm, and emotion.

Drawn entirely by hand using ballpoint pen on paper, the artwork was later scanned and digitally refined in Photoshop, preserving the raw, analog texture while enhancing the final composition.

A fusion of organic technique and conceptual design for a progressive music release.
